My story

[p]We have been fortunate enough to play and coach rugby for many years bringing a huge sense of joy, teamwork, friendship and a few bruises along the way.[/p][p]Next year we will attempt to give something back to the sport by supporting a fantastic charity whilst also attempting to break a Guinness world record. Wooden Spoon aims to positively transform the lives of children and young people with a disability or facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland through the power of rugby.[/p][p][br][/p][p]The LMAX Exchange Everest Rugby Challenge takes place across 24 days (12 April to 5 May 2019) and will see the group battle acclimatisation and heights of Advance Base Camp (3) at 6,500 metres to play the highest game of full contact rugby and the highest game of mixed touch rugby in history. As a team we are aiming to raise in excess of £200,000 100% of which will go to the Wooden Spoon and be used to improve the lives of disabled and disadvantaged young people.[/p][p][br][/p]
