My story

[p]Hey :) Thank you for visiting my page! [/p][p]I've made the decision to go sober for 2018, in order to raise funds for Rethink Mental Illness. [/p][p]Having experienced living with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), and seeing my father suffer through depression, anxiety, psychosis and 2 attempted suicides, I appreciate just how important charities like Rethink truly are. [/p][p]I’ve come to realise that alcohol can play a significant part in aggravating feelings of anxiety and depression, and can often be paralysing for a lot of people. While not drinking alcohol doesn't miraculously take all of life’s problems away, I've found that it certainly helps in not adding to them. [/p][p]I'm taking on this challenge for my Dad, myself, and anyone else who might be struggling with anxiety or depression, and affected by the pressures of social drinking. [/p][p]To read more of my story or follow me on this journey, please visit www.withopenwings.com [/p][p]Thank you for all of your kind donations, each & every one of them! No matter how big or small, they mean the absolute world to me & Rethink. [/p][p]Remember, it's ok to not be ok all the time, and you're not alone! [/p][p]Xxx ? xxX [/p][p]Rethink Mental Illness directly supports almost 60,000 people every year across England to get through crises, to live independently and to realise they are not alone. They change attitudes and policy for millions by campaigning and lobbying the government. Please sponsor me today and help them to do more. [/p][p]We all have mental health and we all deserve to live with happy & healthy minds! [/p]
