My story

[p]Oliver, Ralph & Alfie are aiming to complete a sponsored walk over 85-miles in the Black Forest, Germany. The sponsored walk is scheduled over 5-days in July 2019 and all donations received will be given to Camberley Judo Club, Charity No. 1130119.[/p][p]Oliver has trained at Camberley Judo Club for 7-years and he can accredit all of his success in the sport to the club and their coaches; with selection for the Cadet England squad, gaining his black belt (1st Dan) and competing in national championships. However, the 25-year facilities at the club are dated requires refurbishment to the full-time athlete’s living accommodation.[/p][p]Obviously, Oliver has close links with the Camberley Judo Club which benefits and connects with the local community. The judo club is located within an urban area and acts as a hub where people meet and train. The Olympic sport of judo and CJC encourages all ages and abilities. Judo develops characteristics within an individual such as: a strong work ethic, desire to improve and respect for others; all attributes being essential within society. CJC’s philosophy of team spirit pushes individuals to achieve their goals.[/p][p]The donations generated from your sponsorship will result in the improvement to the standard of living for the 25-full time athletes at the club who are attempting to gain selection for Olympics 2020 and beyond. There are several cases of damp throughout the building, overall works to the living accommodation are urgently needed. Despite this, the club has still managed to produce an Olympic Bronze in London 2012 and 3 Commonwealth Gold medals in Glasgow 2014 and other competitions. [/p][p]With the donations gathered from this expedition the potential success of the athletes and the club is huge from these improvements. As further players will be able to stay at the club to train and develop further; producing more results on the international stage.[/p][p]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfBPkquS_h4[/p][p]http://www.camberleyjudo.co.uk/[/p][p]https://www.facebook.com/The-Official-Camberley-Judo-Club-94855966533/[/p][vmgvideo class="ql-video" allowfullscreen="true" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OfBPkquS_h4?showinfo=0&rel=0&iv_load_policy=3" frameborder="0"][/vmgvideo][p][br][/p][p][br][/p]
