My story

[p]This year, I have set myself the target of running 1000 miles, raising money for the Lung Foundation and for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. [/p][p]In August 2018, 2 weeks after Chloe was born, she was rushed into hospital with Bronchiolitis. After a week of being on oxygen, Chloe was sent home but still suffered up to a month later. [/p][p]"About 3 in 100 babies – may need to go to hospital for help with their breathing and feeding." [/p][p]This is extremely worrying for all families, especially when their child is so young. The support, kindness and care we received from Stoke Mandeville Children's Ward was outstanding. They made a difficult time bearable and looked after my daughter, and my wife, brilliantly! A donation to the Children's Ward would mean a lot to us all. [/p][p]We also have family members with COPD, Asthma, and nonspecific interstitial pneumonia, and have lost family due to lung cancer. These donations can help contribute to life saving research, as well as raising awareness of bronchiolitis. [/p][p]Check out my weekly blog posts[/p]
