Team story

[lt]h2[gt]The Stewart Milne Homes-Homes UK Road Bike Challenge[lt]/h2[gt][p]Hi, thanks for visiting Stewart Milne Group's bike4forty fundraising page. [/p][p]As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, eight employees from our Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen offices are taking on the challenge of a lifetime with the hope of achieving a fantastic fundraising outcome for our three charities - The Archie Foundation based in Aberdeen; The Beatson Cancer Charity based in Glasgow; and The Christie Cancer Charity based in Manchester.[/p][p]An eight-strong team clad in tight-fitting lycra will cycle from our Malpas Development in North West England and visit each of our developments across the UK, finishing at Stewart Milne Group HQ in Aberdeen. By the time the team reach the ‘finish line’ later, the team will have negotiated nine consecutive days in the saddle, over seven hundred and thirty miles of less than flat or smooth terrain and a cumulative climb of over 29,000 feet; higher than Everest![/p][p]Your support is vital. Please give what you can and provide these brave – and foolishly optimistic! – souls with the extra motivation they will need to draw upon to complete nine gruelling days of physical endeavour;[/p][p][b]bike4forty has one simply objective; help us achieve a phenomenal fundraising outcome for these highly deserving causes.[/b][/p][p][b]The bike4forty ABC - Our Benefiting Charities[/b][/p][p]A is for the [span=text-decoration: underline;]Archie[/span] Foundation[/p][p]B is for The [span=text-decoration: underline;]Beatson[/span] Cancer Charity[/p][p]C is for The [span=text-decoration: underline;]Christie[/span] Cancer Charity[/p][p]Thank you so much for supporting us, follow our progress through Facebook and Twitter.[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
