My story

[p]YANA is a Norfolk based charity who provide confidential support & counselling for those involved in farming and other rural businesses affected by stress and depression. [/p][p]Last year YANA came to the aid of a family member when they really needed someone to talk to. They provided great comfort and support and really gave the strength and confidence to deal with the issues they where facing. [/p][p]The last 18 months have been unprecedented. Harvest 19 was challenging and was followed by the wettest Autumn on record. Then came a global pandemic, lockdown, a super dry Spring, no shows, no social events and now, for those of us in the east, another horribly wet drilling season. A difficult and challenging time putting even more pressure on wellbeing and mental health.[/p][p]So, I am going to raise money by running home for Christmas! Starting on 1st December, I am going to run the equivalent distance from the Frontier office in Sandy, Bedfordshire to our home near Diss in Norfolk. 5 km a day, a total of 120 km ………. and my nephew is going to join me 😊. With a bit of luck we’ll make it home by Christmas Eve![/p][p]Please donate and help me meet my target of 4000.00. Please help me support this fantastic organisation, you never know when someone close to you might need their help. [/p][p]If you would like to find out how YANA can help you or you are worried about someone else, go to www.yanahelp.org[/p]
