My story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page. [/p][p]Since suffering life changing injuries whilst serving in Afghanistan in 2013, I have received a huge amount of support. Without this generosity, mine and my families lives would have taken an awful lot longer to get back to some sort of normality.[/p][p]As a way of repaying the faith that these amazing charities have shown in me, myself and a few close friends are taking part in numerous challenges throughout the year. [/p][p]First up is the Great Manchester Swim. A one mile open water swim, which is difficult at the best of times, let alone trying to complete with no legs.[/p][p]The second event will be the arduous mudfest, Airfield Anarchy. As a team we will complete the course and each obstacle despite the injuries and distance needed to cover.[/p][p]Lastly will be an epic journey taking us from John O Groats to Lands end. I will be using a hand cycle whilst a team mate runs. [/p][p]If you can spare the smallest change and help me to give something back, it will be much appreciated and like me, you never know when you may need to depend on one of these amazing charities.[/p][p]www.airfieldanarchy.com[/p][p]www.greatrun.org/great-swim/great-Manchester-swim[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
