[p]You have the chance to make a difference to a child’s life.[/p][p]Instead of helping us reach our target of stuffing a bus with 20,000 toys, we’re asking you to[b] help us help as many families as possible this year, by raising £50,000[/b][/p][p][b]Although our bus may be empty this year, please help us ensure no child experiences an empty Christmas.[/b][/p][p]Stuff A Bus NI is an award-winning initiative started by Translink and U105 in aid of the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul’s annual Christmas Family Appeal, which has been supporting underprivileged children in Northern Ireland for 40 years by ensuring they have a present to open at Christmas.[/p][p]This year, Stuff a Bus has gone virtual because staying apart is the right thing to do. But we need you, our supporters, now more than ever.[/p][p]The Covid-19 pandemic has devastated many families throughout Northern Ireland, who are facing their toughest Christmas ever.[/p][p]It is estimated that over 100,000 children in Northern Ireland live in poverty and it’s likely that by Christmas that number will be even greater. People are facing impossible choices.[/p][p]We’re asking you to make an online donation which will allow us to purchase a toy on your behalf.
