My story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting my page. Please have you cheque book/wallet open and ready....[/p][p]On Monday 16[sup]th[/sup] May I will be arriving to work, at Gamgee House, by bike. This will be after having cycled the 110 miles  (approx.) from my home in Bristol over the previous weekend.[/p] [p] Many of you will be aware of the health benefits of cycling to work; I think that this strenuous effort might just kill me, let alone improve my health.[/p] [p] But, I am not doing this trip to have a positive impact on my health. Rather I am trying to raise awareness and money for a charity called Survive Domestic Violence. They are a national charity (although I am raising money for the Bristol branch).[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to this charity. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. [/p][p] I really appreciate all of your support and thank you for any donations however large or small, it will all make a difference.[/p][p]Thanks in advance to my support team;[/p][ul][li]John Burke for the training runs and the support vehicle[/li][li]Nick Northcott for planning the route and accompanying me[/li][/ul]
