My story

[p]Update[/p][p]On New Years Eve 2018 my mum lost her battle with Leukaemia after it had spread to her brain, she is now at peace but the pain in my heart isn't going away. Now more than ever, I would love to raise as much money as I can to help stop this from happening to others. Please share and please donate. Thank you.[/p][p]My mum has always been a very active, strong, hard working lady, bringing 4 girls up on her own was an amazing achievement but on January 4th 2017 I thought I had been hit by a train. My mum had, had flu like symptoms over Christmas and we ended up having to rush her to A&E as she had all sorts of pains etc. It was at that point we were told she had Leukaemia and there was a strong possibility that she may not last the week as she could suffer a heart attack due the stress her body was under due to her illness.[/p][p]She was in hospital for the following 9 weeks undergoing no end of blood transfusions, bone marrow tests, scans, countless injections together with my two sisters we made sure one of us was by her side the whole time.[/p][p]My mum was not going to let Leukaemia kill her and together with the awesome staff of Bristol Haematology & Oncology hospital she finally came home.[/p][p]Thanks to my mums inner strength and determination she is now on her 19th lot of Chemotherapy and she is still going strong, but if it had not been for all the doctors, nurses, physio therapists, porters and everyone connected to Bristol Haematology & Oncology Hospital my mum would not be here.[/p][p]So I am asking you all to dig deep into your pockets to sponsor me as I am going to run the London marathon next April in aid of the Leukaemia Charity so I can say thank you for everything they have done for my mum.[/p][p]Would you be so kind as to share this on your facebook page so I can hopefully raise the £1600 I have pledged to raise.[/p][p] Thank you[/p][p] [/p]
