Team story

[p]As most of my family and friends know Callum took part in the Great Scottish Swim in 2014 to raise money for Glasgow Children's Hospital (Yorkhill) as someone we knew (Ashlee) was undergoing treatment there. Christopher has been friends with Ashlee's older brother since starting primary school and has decided to join us in taking part in this years Great Scottish Swim. Ashlee is once again undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma so we have decided we would ask our family and friends to support us in raising vital funds for research to find a cure for this evil disease. Ashlee's Neuroblastoma Appeal page gives more information on what a brave young lady Ashlee is and the funds her family and friends have already raised for CCLG. http://www.cclg.org.uk/AshleesNeuroblastomaAppeal[/p][p]Christopher will be be swimming the half mile as that is all he can do at his age. Callum now being 16 is going to swim the mile this year. As it's Christopher's first time I'm going to do the half mile with him, plus Callum left me behind last year! So far in our training sessions the water temperature hasn't been very warm, a bit like the weather. We're hoping for a nice sunny day at Loch Lomond on August 26th.[/p][p][/p][p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities.
