My story

[p]!! NEWS !![/p][p]Ten members of our team are taking on the Welsh Three Peaks on 11 May. Walking through the night, the team will walk nearly 170 miles between them (and over 3,000 meters vertically each!)[/p][p]The Welsh Three Peaks Challenge is made up of three of the highest and most iconic mountains in Wales.[/p][p]ONE: Snowdon, Wales’ tallest peak and the highest point in Britain outside the Scottish highlands – a 5 hr walk up 1,085 meters[/p][p]TWO: Cadair Idris, a spectacular peak at the southerly edge of Snowdonia National Park – a 5 hr walk up 893 meters.[/p][p]THREE: Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales – a 2.5 hr walk up 886 meters.[/p][p]Help us reach our fundraising total and sponsor us as much as you can afford today![/p][p][br][/p][p]--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[/p][p]Read more about our partnership:[/p][p]Here at Synergy Creative we’re passionate about people. Our colleagues, our clients and our local community. We’re raising money throughout 2019 in support of The Julian Trust – a Bristol based charity who run an emergency night shelter supporting the 2000+ people who are living on the streets of Bristol.[/p][p]The Julian Trust opens five nights a week and accommodates 18 guests each night. As well as providing washing facilities, ‘moving on’ and health advice, clothing and two meals every day to c.100 people. The 140+ volunteers are trained in how to support the homeless community, to be a kind ear and how to deal with challenging situations.[/p][p]At Synergy Creative, we’ve committed to helping The Julian Trust in two ways:[/p][p]ONE: Raising awareness and understanding of homeless and the factors which could mean a person becomes homeless[/p][p]TWO: Making life a little easier for the Trust through clothing donations and general fundraising[/p][p]We’re doing this through our regular team activities, and some big fundraising events throughout 2019.[/p][p]The charity costs around £1,500.00 each week to run, which at £15 per bed space per night, works out as very good value for money. Our target of £7,500.00 would mean 5 weeks' costs are completely covered or the cost of a bed for 500 people.[/p][p]To raise this amount by the end of 2019 is achievable. Please donate and help us on our mission![/p]
