They help them get back into education or employment and help them move on to independent living as soon as it's right for them. They make a difference in their lives by giving them a chance to achieve their goals, aims and fulfill their aspirations.[/p][p]Here at Foundation IT we work closely with Young People and Children First, raising money for them throughout the year. In March, we all individually completed an hour's exercise at home, due to Covid-19 postponing our spinning at the office, with a goal of raising £1k. This June we are all going to set personal challenges to push us out of our comfort zones to raise even more, aiming for £4k! [/p][p]The personal challenges are:[/p][p]Andy: 5K run in PB time[/p][p]Dan H: Running an 8 - 10 miles virtual Spartan Race[/p][p]Elliott: Completing a 5K run[/p][p]James: Cycling at least 100 miles in 10 days - Completed 195 on 29/06[/p][p]Jim: Completing a 5K run[/p][p]Lizzie: Running first 10K run[/p][p]Mike: Riding 100K on his spin bike in one day[/p][p]Nabeil: Cycling 100K in a day[/p][p]Pauline: Running an hour long Female Entrepreneurs Workshop [/p][p]Ryan: Completing a 10K run[/p][p]Toby: Completing a 5K run[/p][p]Lots of exciting challenges to be completed! We are so thankful for any donations, they go to such a great cause.[/p]
