The Red Cross Runners

[p]During the current Coronavirus pandemic the British Red Cross have stepped up to help the most vulnerable people during this crisis. They have launched a campaign called KINDNESS WILL KEEP US TOGETHER. The power of kindness is needed more than ever as the UK faces a global pandemic. They are helping the over 70s and people in very vulnerable circumstances. This includes older people, those who are socially isolated and the homeless. They are also supporting the NHS. Our friend Jude has witnessed the fantastic support provided by the British Red Cross to her elderly neighbours who have received outstanding support. During this crisis this worthy charity now require even more support. The current UK lockdown has reduced the amount of charity donations and fundraising events which ultimately are essential to keep them functioning. [/p][p]This team has been set up to raise funds for the British Red Cross. Each member will individually run 100km over the course of May 2020. We will keep a record of every run we complete. The majority of the team members have never run 100km in one month so this is a worthy challenge for us to raise funds for such a wonderful charity. All we need is your support by sponsoring us to raise the funds for this worthy charity.
