My story
[p]As a hub in the heart of Whitechapel, home to over 500 people, we want to give back to our local community.[/p][p]This year and next we hope you’ll join us in supporting an amazing local charity, Whitechapel Mission. Based just around the corner, it supports over 600 homeless people everyday with vital food, clothes and upskilling.[/p][p]Because of the pandemic, other centres in London have been forced to close, but Whitechapel Mission has stayed open. It’s seen its demand double and this Christmas Day it is expected to serve 1,000 warm meals.[/p][p]If you’d like to help them with their vital work this Christmas and beyond, we’d love it if you could donate one day’s lunch money (£5) to feed, shower and clothe a homeless person on Christmas Day or donate by dropping off a sleeping bag or a thick winter coat in reception.[/p]
