Travelling Around the World in an Ambulance

[p]In mid to late 2020 once the current coronavirus situation has subsided, we (Lawrence Dodi, Rachel Nixon and our dog Peggy Sue) will be leaving our home in Liverpool, England to complete a drive of over 100,000 kilometres to get back home again. The journey will be in "Amber" our Land Rover Defender Ambulance that has been converted into an expedition vehicle. We plan to perform a true global circumnavigation and in doing so gain the Guinness World Record for the 'longest journey in an ambulance'. [/p][p]The aim is for the trip to be at the very least carbon neutral through offsetting measures and other green initiatives.[/p][p]We will be travelling through at least 66 countries via every European country, North Africa (Morocco), Central Asia (Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia), East Asia (South Korea, Japan), Australasia (Australia, New Zealand) and North America (Canada, USA).
