The Paravengers

Since completing the race we have all kept in touch and kept the (slightly lower) milage going. As restrictions ease, we'll be outside and cementing the habit of enjoying the freedom, the spring and the exercise - we all hope we have inspired you to do the same. Easter is a time of new beginnings. Thank you. And, for now, the Paravengers are signing off. See you again soon for the inevitable sequel. 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪[/p][p]-----------[/p][p]The Paravengers are assembling to virtually to Race The Thames, any way we are physically able to, between 22nd - 29th March 2021 - and we're asking for your support.[/p][p]We are a mixed team of eight with a wide range of service and civilian backgrounds going through some life-changing challenges; so why not race all 346km of The Thames together![/p][p]In an effort to get out, get active and work as a team to bust this winter lockdown, we will be racing over a hundred other virtual crews from around the world to support London Youth Rowing and Blesma.[/p][p]London Youth Rowing (LYR) provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people to experience the benefits of rowing through a range of coaching, inclusion and health programmes.[/p][p]Blesma are an Armed Forces charity dedicated to assisting serving and ex-service men and women who have suffered life-changing limbloss or the use of a limb, an eye or sight.[/p][p]We'll be grafting on Skiergs, hand bikes, in wheelchairs, on rowing machines and on foot to cover the distance. Thank you so much for supporting us and these two amazing charities.
