My story

[p]Thanks for visiting my page.  [/p][p]I’m raising money for the ‘Duchenne Children’s Trust’ and aiming to cycle from London to Paris in 24hrs. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p]Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit so all the money goes straight to the charity.[/p][p] [/p][p]A bit of background on Duchenne and why I'm raising money: One of my close friends, has a nephew (Eli) who has been diagnosed with (Duchenne) Muscular Dystrophy – he’s 7, there is currently no cure, it’s degenerative, and ultimately fatal, normally by the age of 20 or 30. In response, his family have set up the Duchenne Children’s Trust funding research into the disease, with the mission to find a cure and 'end Duchenne in 10’ years. Take 3 minutes to watch this film [lt]http://www.dc-trust.org/watch-our-film/[gt] and you’ll see what it’s all about. [/p]
