My story

[p]Tims 60th birthday challenge[/p][p]First London marathon on April 21st difficult enough at the best of times but.....in a chicken suit! yes thats right a chicken suit as FARM helps so many farmers set up chicken enterprizes.[/p][p]Next is The Wall ultra race on June 22nd www.thewallrun.com a grueling 69 miles in 24hrs along the Hadrians Wall something I have always wanted to do.[/p][p]Last on 28th August I will be cycling to London to hopefully present FARM with the  proceeds of your generousity.[/p][p]So,thanks for visiting my page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to FARM Africa. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p]Farm Africa is a different kind of charity working to end humger and bring prosperity to rural Africa[/p][p]For too long Africa has struggled with the problems of hunger and poverty. Again and again images of famine have challenged the world to end this human tradgedy - but it still happens.[/p][p]Farm Africa is helping farmers to end this cycle of despair:we're there,. on the ground, ensuring farmers have the equipement and know how to manage their land more effectively.[/p][p]Working shoulder to shoulder with farmers, we help the best farming techniques take root and spread so there's food not just this harvest but every harvest.[/p][p]£30 could provide a goat and training for a family in eastern Africa.[/p][p]£48 could pay for a village vet's starter kit, giving a Community Animal Health Worker[/p]
