My story

[p]Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2019 London Legal sponsored walk.[/p][p]Our team so far is: Debbie Adler, Jenny Papworth, Macca Teclehaimanot, Flora Swartland, Jacqueline Horne, Emma Robinson and Shihab Akhtar[/p][p]We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers who are raise funds for Law Centres and pro bono agencies in and around London.[/p][p]Our team is raising funds for the legal advice service at the Cardinal Hume Centre and all funds raised by our team will be passed by LLST to the Centre with no deduction.[/p][p]As part of its work to give homeless young people, families in need and local people the support they need to realise their full potential, the Centre provides free and accredited advice on basic as well as complex immigration matters. In addition, they also provide representation at appeal for those who cannot afford legal assistance and are suffering from poverty and homelessness due to their lack of status.[/p][p]Funding for that work is incredibly hard to come by and so we are wlking to raise some of the shortfall in funding.[/p][p]Please support our walkers as generously as you are able[/p][p]Thank you[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
