[p]Lock down Shave DONE! See below images for the result.[/p][p][br][/p][p]There is no denying that Tom's hair is out of control. What better reason to shave it all off then to raise money for two charities at the same time? Those two charities being:[/p][p]The [b]Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity [/b]does great work, helping children and adults with dyslexia to overcome their challenges, and find new ways forward in life. The charity unlocks potential in people and acts as a catalyst for change in their lives. Over 1,000 children and adults are helped by Helen Arkell every year (1 in 10 people have dyslexia).[/p][p]The trouble is, the charity’s income has been decimated by the current coronavirus crisis, with all fundraising events being cancelled for the time being. I am so proud of my grandmother for establishing such an excellent cause, and that's why I'm doing my small bit to help support the charity in these difficult times. [/p][p]I want to do my bit to help raise some money, and help more people with dyslexia. So whilst I am here in New Zealand confined to my home, what better way than to shave off this excessive hair![/p][p][br][/p][p]The [b]pituitary foundation [/b]is a national support and information organisation for pituitary patients, their families, friends and carers. Dee was diagnosed with a pituitary condition in 2012 and the pituitary foundation has been a great support for Dee over the years. The pituitary foundation relies heavily on events and community fundraising which has unfortunately won't go ahead due to covid. [/p][p]I want to do my bit to help raise some money so I've convinced Tom to shave his crazy hair![/p]
