Yes Futures Summer Showcase Challenge

[p]When Covid-19 reached the British Isles earlier this year, none of us anticipated quite the impact it would have on our day-to-day lives.[/p][p]For Yes Futures, all school programmes were put on hold and we began to look at ways to support our young people in other ways. The idea came to produce a new support package will enable us to support young people until we are able to meet with them face to face once more.[/p][p]From Monday 6th to Friday 31st July, Yes Futures are encouraging their community to undertake a personal challenge to raise £2,600 towards this project. [/p][p]While my choice has nothing to do with developing my confidence, resilience, communication or self-awareness, it will most certainly be challenge. For these 26 days I have decided to give up biscuits, cake and chocolate. It will be particularly difficult as my birthday falls during this time.[/p][p]It may not be a 100km trek but it's something I can do to challenge myself and, with your help, raise some money to help Yes Futures reach this target.[/p][p]Yes Futures is an award-winning charity, empowering young people to be confident, resilient and lead a fulfilling life. Since 2013, we have run our high-impact programmes in schools, equipping the most vulnerable young people with the self-esteem and key skills they need to reach their personal potential.[/p]
