My story

[p]I used to be known as the Tyre Girl from 1 - 49 marathons[/p][p]www.tyregirl.com[/p][p]When I got to 50 marathons, promoted myself to Tyre Lady.[/p][p]wordpress.tyrelady.com[/p][p]I am the lady that pulls a tyre over a marathon or ultra marathon distance, and raise funds for EarthWatch. Why? Because they investigate the impact we are making on our world and provide funds to researchers to see how we can live more sustainably whilst reducing the impact we make on our natural world. About 90% of the funds you donate will go towards their cause. The rest of course is to the administration of their charity.[/p][p]The tyres? These generally weigh about 10kg. Exceptions: Chanthaburi had a 6kg tyre (Khun Krabaen); Richmond Park Marathon a 15kg tyre called Landy; Rovaniemi 150km a Snow Tyre called Lumi. Yes the tyres all have names:[/p][p]https://www.runnersworld.co.uk/training/motivation/why-this-runner-completes-marathons-dragging-a-tyre-behind-her[/p][p]If you want to connect with me, you can find me on twitter TyreLady[/p][p]Thank you for coming to this page[/p][p]Notes to self: Raised 3.50 on 18th Nov whilst doing a tyre pull in Dorset[/p]
