My story

[p]Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2019 London Legal sponsored walk. We're taking on 10K for justice on the 17th June.[/p][p]Our team is: Adam Riley, Catriona MacDonald, Sarah Joy, Shiva Riahi, Clara Fuhg, Thul Khan, Jennifer Akinola, Rachel Knowles, Jacqui Kinghan and Sarah Beardon[/p][p]We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for the UCL Centre for Access to Justice. Our work predominantly centres around the areas of social welfare, community care, education, and employment law.[/p][p]UCL Laws has been a leader in access to justice and the incorporation of casework and social justice awareness into the law degree programmes we offer. Working with charity organisations and legal professionals, the Centre provides legal assistance to members of the local community while giving students an opportunity to gain hands on experience in meeting legal needs and critically reflect on the role of law in society.[/p][p]All funds raised on this page will be donate to UCL Centre for Access to Justice by the London Legal Support Trust without deduction. [/p][p]Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able[/p][p]Many thanks for your support[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
