My story

[p]We are a group of MBA students at Westminster Business School. We recently visited Uganda to work on projects to provide clean drinking water to a rural community. We would really appreciate[lt]br /[gt]your help to further this project and make a difference in Uganda.[/p][p]We are working on several water projects with the Ntinkalu community to purify drinking water. The initial target group is 45 Grandmothers (Jajjas) who are considered the most vulnerable as they were left with the responsibility of raising their grandchildren after the death of most of their children from AIDS. The Jajjas and the wider community were trained on how to use a simple Lifestraw Family purification device and guttering for rainwater harvesting was installed at their community run school. The project is ongoing as the community is seeking sustainable methods of supplying clean drinking water to everyone in Ntinkalu. More of the lifeStraw devices are needed as well as funding for repairs to broken water systems in the community.[lt]br /[gt]We can guarantee that all your donations are used in the best way possible.[/p][p]Thank you – Marina Agadzhanyants, Peter Clarke, Dimsoy Cruickshank, Nermine Hassan, Jack Farren Kerr, Juan Suarez Rojas[/p][p]More info at http://blog.business.westminster.ac.uk/mba/2012/11/social-entrepreneurship-module-uganda-2012/[/p][p]and http://blog.business.westminster.ac.uk/mba/2012/11/uganda-2012-all-you-need-to-pack-is-a-big-smile-a-camera-and-a-thousand-waves/[/p][p][span=color: #ff0000;]Breaking news [/span]- 37 more lifestraws delivered to the community this week. AND NOW £5 donation for everyone that completes my allainces survey (Peter) [/p]
