[p]I am running the London Marathon on the 26th April for MapAction and I need your help to raise as much money as possible![/p] [p]MapAction is an international disaster mapping charity. When a humanitarian disaster strikes, MapAction deploy a team of volunteers to the frontline of the emergency to help map the needs of survivors. They map a huge range of information which ensures that relief aid can reach all those in need as quickly as possible. MapAction's most recent deployment has been to West Africa to help out with the Ebola crisis.[/p] [p]Until January of this year, I had never run more than 5km in my life so this will be a huge personal challenge for me. However, the pain I go through in training and running the marathon will be nothing compared to those who have suffered in disasters such as the Asian Tsunami and the Haiti Earthquake so please sponsor generously.
