Team story

[p]WARpaint aims to raise the level of public awareness of service personnel, serving and veterans, who are living with the devastating and life changing effects of war.[/p][p]It is the brainchild of portrait artist, Caroline de Peyrecave. [/p][p]The core of the project is 15 large, life size portraits, painted by Caroline, of soldiers, sailors, aircrew, men and women who served in conflicts that the United Kingdom has been involved in since World War 2. The portraits will be leased for short periods to corporates to raise money for 4 charities who support wounded veterans.[/p][p]The 4 charities being supported are: [/p][p]Walking with the Wounded[/p][p]Combat Stress[/p][p]Stoll[/p][p]Lt Dougie Dalzell MC Memorial Trust[/p][p]In 2018 the paintings will hang in the new Defence & National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC), currently under construction at Stanford Hall in the Midlands, where it is intended they act as inspiration and a beacon of hope to casualties of future conflicts[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can support WARpaint and your donations will be quickly processed and passed to the 4 charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p]For more information please visit www.warpaintexhibition.com[/p]
