My story

[p]Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2019 London Legal Walk.[/p][p]Our team is: Helen Taylor (with more to follow)[/p][p]We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for Walthamstow Migrants' Support Centre.[/p][p]The centre is a volunteer-led service launched by Walthamstow Migrants' Action Group in 2015. We provide free advice, advocacy, support and a warm welcome to migrants and refugees in Waltham Forest. There is a lack of free immigration advice in our borough, so the money we raise will contribute towards providing a high-quality, dedicated legal service for those who need it most.[/p][p]Waltham Forest is a diverse and vibrant borough and we want everyone in our community to get the help they need so that they can live their lives with dignity and without fear. This speaks to the best instincts of our local community – helping to guide and support those who are in need of assistance wherever they come from as fellow residents of our area.[/p][p]Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able[/p][p]Many thanks for your support[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
