Team story

[p][/p][p]Thanks for visiting the Ward Hadaway 3 Points North page![/p][p]As part of Ward Hadaway’s 30th anniversary celebrations, more than 50 of our people will team up this September to run a non-stop relay between our offices in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle – all in the name of charities COCO and the Greggs Foundation! [/p][p]Come rain or shine, our team of sprightly runners will complete the 135-mile relay over approximately 34 hours, covering terrain including city streets, busy roads and rambling countryside. The relay begins at our office in Manchester City Centre at 6am on Thursday 13th September, heads to Wellington Place in Leeds and then finishes up at Ward Hadaway's HQ on Newcastle Quayside on the Friday afternoon.[/p][p]We would be really grateful for any support you can give, small or large. All funds raised will go to two fantastic charities – COCO (who provide sustainable sources of quality education to children living in poor and marginalised communities) and the Greggs Foundation (to support their Greggs Breakfast Club Programme, helping primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day). [/p][p]We’re also delighted to be joined by Team GB athlete Laura Weightman. The 26-year-old British middle-distance runner from Alnwick in Northumberland, who recently won the 1500m title at the British Athletics Championships, is supporting us by running the last leg of the 135-mile relay along Newcastle's Quayside with the Ward Hadaway team.[/p]
