Team story

[p]Warrington-Worldwide has a team taking part in the annual English Half Marathon 10k event raising funds for the Tim Parry Johnathan ball Foundation for Peace based at Warrington's unique Peace Centre.[/p][p]The team members include:[/p][p]Janet Skentelbery (Editor's wife)[/p][p]Michele Butterworth (Shellys)[/p][p]Roz Healey (Aspire Computers)[/p][p]Gary Jenkins (No Brainer Agency)[/p][p]Paul Moore (PME Projects )[/p][p]Henry Seddon (Henry's Lap Tops)[/p][p]Colin Shilito (Old school friend)[/p][p]Beverley Stockton (Friend's wife)[/p][p]Domic Walker (Former Wire FM presenter)[/p][p][br][/p][p]It is a big challenge for all the team, especially Gary who has never been a runner so this is one of the biggest physical challenges of his life.[/p][p]Gary said: "As a local reporter I was on the streets of Warrington following the terrorist attack on my home town, when two bombs planted by the IRA claimed the lives of two innocent boys, 12-year-old Tim Parry and three-year-old Johnathan Ball, injuring dozens more shoppers on the day before Mother's Day.[/p][p]"I am now proud to be a long serving Patron of the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation of Peace after being inspired by Colin and Wendy Parry and the many others who responded to atrocity in a positive way, delivering the unique Peace Centre which is a lasting legacy to the two boys and all those affected by a cold blooded act of terror.[/p][p]"Having followed the story every step of the way over the past 25 years I am now stepping out on my own challenge after spending the past 18 months getting myself in shape by shedding three stones through a number of ongoing fitness challenges.[/p][p]Please support me and members of my team who are taking part in the 10k at the English Half Marathon event taking place in my home town."[/p]
