My story

[p]I am having fun training every week and I am preparing to run my socks off for a very worthy and important cause for a change: helping improve the lives and opportunities for thousands around the world, namely in some of the most impoverished countries in Africa and South America. I am supporting the British charity Jesuit Missions. They have kindly invited me to run the famous London Marathon with others ( including their famous Wimbledon Common Wombles ) to raise funds and awareness of the plight of others; particularly struggling communities in the new country of South Sudan, where daily distresses and destruction are wrecking havoc with innocent children and their families, between warring factions. This work is worthy and valuable to many people and personally I think it is my time do more to help others. I can do more to help their work, with your support, if you can spare some financial backing ( best wishes and prayers ) to support me. Let's make a difference to the lives of those in far off countries that need help in their own homelands. I am grateful for your time and help to this worthy cause. I look forward to running around London on Sunday morning, 28th April, 2019, in a great capital, known around the world as a symbol of freedom, culture, heritage and symbol of rights for all. London was always good to me and I know you will be cheering me on. Let's go![/p][p][br][/p][p]Your friend and runner, My thanks again. W. K xx.[/p]
