My story

[p]The staff at Withington Baths are doing a sky-dive to raise money for Super Josh - a children's brain tumour charity. Lisa, Dennis, Matt, Greg, Inaam, Natalie and Sam are taking to the sky and need your support in raising money for this wonderful charity! PLEASE GET DONATING! [/p][p][br][/p][p]From about 1 years old I just knew there was something not right with my boy. I was told I was an overreacting first time mum, and in Dec 2009 the world came crumbling down when we were told he had a Brain tumour along with lots of fluid on the brain. Life was not how we knew it and we learnt very quickly words and procedures that know one should ever know. In January 2010 Josh had his first surgery to relieve the pressure in his brain and what was the first of many brain surgeries for him. Along with 18 months of chemotherapy. During all of this he was so brave through all his struggles and the added issues of being in nappies and not being able to walk. In his 3rd year at school Josh was amazing and took his first step with a frame and was starting to be able to use the toilet a little bit. [/p][p]Even thou Josh was so poorly and spent many a months in hospital he wanted to do some good so that's when we started to fundraise by doing crazy things. We have done runs with Josh using his frame and wheelchair nothing stopping him.we did hikes, cake sales and anything that Josh came up with. Altogether Josh, his sister and myself have raised well over 80k for many little charities and to give his best buddy Emma her wishes.[/p][p]This short film is all Josh, his own words. Even thou he's been through so much and still today struggles with walking, writing, concentration and now autism he just wants to help others. We are immensely proud of our boy.??[/p][p][br][/p]
