[/p][p][b]Question[/b][/p][p]What does a clapped out Peugeot 206 with a 1.1 litre petrol engine bought for under £500 and a rag tag group of Devonians have in common?[/p][p][b]Answer[/b][/p][p]All of the above will be attempting a 10,000km drive through beautiful regions of Europe and then into more desolate lands to reach Mongolia, finishing in Ulan Ude, Russia![/p][p]Our adventure begins on Friday 13th July 2018 from Bideford, Devon, where we'll be heading to the start line, 30 minutes west of Prague. We’re hoping to finish around August 10th 2018 – this is obviously subject to the number of breakdowns, scrupulous border control searches and camel attacks we suffer on route.[/p][p][b]Charities[/b][/p][p]We're raising charities for three charities, two of which are based in our home county of Devon. The first is [b][i]Everything Ellie,[/i][/b] who 'hope to make every day a ‘blue sky day’ by providing a simple day at the seaside, a break away from the hospital rooms for young people or Parents/Guardians with young families undergoing treatment for long term, life threatening or terminal illnesses such as Cancers & Leukemia's.[/p][p]We currently have an amazing beach hut at Saunton Sands Beach North Devon where families can spend a day away, enjoy the natural beauty that it provides and create lasting happy memories together.' [/p][p]They are currently trying to gain enough funds to buy a Woodland lodge in North Devon where families will be able to stay there for longer, while still having use of the beach hut where it all started.[/p]
