My story

[p]Raising money for Macmillan cancer support! Doing as many marathons and ultra marathons as I can between April 2018 until the finale of King Offa's Dyke 185 mile race from Sedbury to Prestatyn (Wales) This follows the famous King Offa's Dyke trail - September 2019.[/p][p]Every person I know has either been personally touched by cancer or knows of someone that has had their lives torn apart by cancer, some of us including myself have been lucky but not all have made it through their cancer journey. I am begging everyone and anyone just to sponser me what ever you can afford to spare, to help those that continue to fight their battle, to provide vital resources to this amazing charity that work tirelessly to support not only the patients but the families [/p][p]Since April 2017 I have been completing events to raise money for those amazing Macmillan nurses that have helped me through the years in my own battle, I'm doing it with a smile on my face and usually a blister or two on my feet, so please spare some anything you can afford so that this charity can be there for many many more years to come!! Thank you!!!! You never know when you may need them!!! [/p][p]Below are the event's that I have done so far. Since April 2017, More will be added each week so please give generously!!![/p][p]You can also see these events in detail on my Strava, Instagram and Facebook accounts all under Lauryn Ava. I have also had 2 newspaper articles with my full cancer story in the daily mirror and chepstow beacon ( it won't allow me to add hyper links here but Google Lauryn Ava and they will come up :-)[/p][p]95) Lulworth Ultramarathon 23/03/2019[/p][p]93 /94) Howlers Double Ultramarathon 9th, 10th March 2019 [/p][p]92) Chester Ultramarathon 02/03/2019 [/p][p]91) Dirty Running Ultramarathon with Phoenix running 24/02/2019[/p][p]90) Jaw Dropper Ultramarathon with Phoenix running 23/02/2019[/p][p]89) Grease Lightening Ultramarathon with Phoenix running 22/02/2019[/p][p]88) Brecon to Cardiff ultra marathon 44 Miles with Run, walk, crawl 10/02/2019[/p][p]87) Maverick Race Oxfordshire dark edition 09/02/2019[/p][p]86) Mayhill Mayhem with Trimax 03/02/2019[/p][p]85) Gloucester Marathon 20/01/2019[/p][p]Sadly I had to take a couple of weeks off due to a family bereavement [/p][p]84) Blade Runner Ultra Marathon (Brecon Beacon Mountains) 05/01/2019[/p][p]83) Winter Cross Ultra Marathon 27/12/2018[/p][p]Flu got me so I had to have 2 weeks off :-( [/p][p]82) Hardmoors Wolds Way 80 mile ultra marathon 24/11/18[/p][p]81) Brecon Beacons ultra marathon 17/11/18 50 miles [/p][p]80) EDDUM ultra marathon 11/11/18 50 miles [/p][p]79) Trail Events co.
