2019 Virgin Money London Marathon

[p]I’ve wanted to do the London Marathon since I was a child, and this year has made me want to do it more than ever! [/p][p]Cancer seems to touch everyone of us in some way or another, [/p][p]Its touched me many times over the last few years, From two of my friends getting it, luckily one kicked cancers butt, but sadly this year it took the most beautiful and caring person I knew away from me. [/p][p]So this is for her my first marathon, but not just for her, for everyone fighting the battle, whether you have cancer, whether it’s a friend or family member we are all fighting the battle.[/p][p]But this is a special thanks to those at Macmillan Cancer Support, without you the journey would be so hard for everyone! [/p][p]Also a special thanks to those at a close to home charity Star Throwers, they really do help people in there time of need, from the support to the information they give you thought you diagnosis not just for the patients but also carers too. [/p][p]So here's to the next 26.2 miles, this is now my time to say thank you back, because without you it wouldn't have been that easy.[/p][p]Thank you [/p]
