Team story

[p]Dear friends, family and Juggernaugts![/p][p]First and foremost, I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the cyclists and supporters in taking the time out of your own busy lives to raise funds for a great cause! The support I have received over the last few weeks has been truly overwhelming, and as a family we will be forever grateful. [/p][p]Thank you for the late night text messages to see if the children need taking to school, the offers of doing a food shop, travelling miles to see me for a coffee; it's all these things that make me realise that we as a family are extremely lucky to have such wonderful friends and support. [/p][p]I will be at the start to wave you off and all being well will be there in Amsterdam to welcome you across the line to celebrate your incredible achievement.[/p][p]I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2018, below our some of my thoughts I have experienced and why funds for Breast Cancer Care are so valuable: [/p][p]“When you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer, every bit of your life can change forever. It’s the non-stop hospital visits. It’s the battering to your confidence and self-esteem. It’s the scars from your surgery. It’s the infertility, the chronic fatigue and all the other unwelcome side effects that can come as part and parcel of your treatment. It’s the helplessness in the eyes of your partner. It’s the child who faces growing up without you. It’s the loneliness of knowing that the people you love can’t understand how you’re feeling. It’s the very real fear of dying. That’s why the support that Breast Cancer Care offers is so valuable. [/p][p]Love Zoe x[/p]
