My story

[lt]h3 style="text-align: center;"[gt][span=text-decoration: underline;]Chasing Their Future for survival[/span][lt]/h3[gt] [p][span=text-decoration: underline;][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p] [lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]Please watch all my videos and read my story as I have smashed my £10000 fundraising target over three years of dedicated work and still going strong, My passion is results driven with more cancers that are being cured through the help of this special charity the more I am passionate about the next fundraising event so join me and be part of something special.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt] [lt]object width="425" height="350" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/4Gij-rY8ymU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"[gt][lt]param name="data" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4Gij-rY8ymU" /[gt][lt]param name="quality" value="high" /[gt][lt]param name="wmode" value="transparent" /[gt][lt]param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4Gij-rY8ymU" /[gt][lt]/object[gt][/p] [p]Thank you for visiting my page as you see from the video above by Linda robson you can see how important your sponsorship and donations is to children suffering with Cancer and by supporting me on my challenges on this fundraising page you are helping me towards saving a childs life[/p] [lt]h3 style="text-align: center;"[gt][span=text-decoration: underline;]My Journey[/span][lt]/h3[gt] [p]It all started 5 years ago with the loss of my father that spurred me on to dig deep and beat my demands and change my life for the better, A dark existence had shadowed me for many years a lonely place I wouldn’t want anyone to be in but with a family I love very much and don’t want to miss out on one bit I had to change.[/p] [p]When a guy walks up to you and says he is going to kill you,  chances are it’s all talk, when a doctor says you need to change because potentially could die within the next 6 months due to a stroke or a heart attack chances are you will!![/p] [p]I had to make my life worthwhile so I woke up and embarked on a journey, a journey only I could travel and if many of you would of heard or even seen many of my tv and radio interviews you will know exactly where I am coming from, I opened the front door and went for a walk and this walk got faster and faster until it was a jog and with support from a good friend Richard all the training in the gym and sticking to my weight loss diet plan I learned to run and so I kept punishing my body for one of the biggest challenges of my life The Virgin Money London Marathon[/p] [p]This could not of been possible without someone believing in me after numerous charity rejections I had three interviews by one special charity who I really connected with from day one and also was extremely motivated by and that was and still is to this very day Children with Cancer Uk This charity truly believed in me and loved my life story from wanting to change from going down the wrong path in violent past of troubled life that stuck to me like a leach and court rooms that got to know me well but killing myself slowly with my Obesity and depression  was an ongoing fight! It was my fight and probably the biggest fight of my life![/p] [p][/p] [p]I have continued my running and still fighting my demands I run for children with cancer uk because they never gave up on me like they don’t give up on the research and development of childhood cancer, I am a true believer if we keep fundraising and keep fighting this together one day we will be rid of this deadly disease and our children will be able to be children, I am lucky to have such healthy children but there are some who are not and that’s all the motivation I need to keep going, Have you got a child? How would you feel as a parent to have your child suffer from this deadly disease.[/p] [p][/p] [p]I am going to make this London Marathon my last for so many reasons, this will be my fifth year in a row and I want to spend more time on the other side helping the charity to help other runners, I also want to free time up to run other events as I dedicate half my spare time preparing for my challenges and my charity work. The London marathon is one of the most prestigious events to be a part of and I feel lucky and blessed to be part of such an event that is known throughout the world[/p] [p]I want to raise as much as possible to  creep as close as I can to my next mile stone of £15k![/p] [p]Can you help? Thank you for taking the time to read this fundraising page on Adys Journey for more info and to read up on my interviews feel free to visit www.adysjourney.com go online and listen to my radio interviews, my bbc interviews and look-east too it may motivate you to change or it may motivate you to give me some spare change to support my fundraising once again thank you and always remember we walk forward not backwards [/p] [p][/p] [p] [lt]object width="425" height="350" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/eHjOmq0sSnw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"[gt][lt]param name="data" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/eHjOmq0sSnw" /[gt][lt]param name="quality" value="high" /[gt][lt]param name="wmode" value="transparent" /[gt][lt]param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/eHjOmq0sSnw" /[gt][lt]/object[gt][/p]
