My father fort hard to survive his illness in and out of hospital, he fort a fight like no other just to try and survive. His passing and the silent moment I shared with him with my family that day changed me.  Many years ago I was a keen martial artist and enjoyed swimming, running, and then body building and from body building I entered the door world and protection  and violence, knifes and broken bottles which was followed by a commitment of Death threats that followed me like a bad smell but I had no fear, my parting of the door world eventually led me after a few years to my father who I didn’t happen to be with for around 18 ½ years. My father became a dad and a best friend to me again who was sadly taken from me in 2011 this became a turning point in my life which had led me to change for the better but all for the wrong reasons, After my granddad Stohr and father passing at the same age I felt I needed to see my doctor and ask him to check me over and to my horror I was told the worse, my doctor told me I was top end Obese and would be a diabetic by Christmas but the worse was yet to come I was also told I would possibly have a heart attack or a stroke unless I lost the weight, my death sentence was served. I for once had a fear of dying and had to do something fast I dieted and swopped my burgers and chips for salads and trained hard in the gym and with the support from a good friend sergeant Major Richard Jacques helped me to run again and helped and supported my training  with advice along with the great support of my wife and children I lost a staggering 8 stone in 12 months. I decided this fight to survive and live longer with my family has made me realise some people are not given the chance to live like us, my weight was solely due to my ignorance that’s why my change of life and my urge to want to help others has led me to this great charity called children with cancer uk, there are children out there who don’t have the opportunity to enjoy their child hood because they are too fighting to survive in this world by the vicious illness of cancer. I have decided to take the biggest challenge of my life to help raise money to support this charity to help raise as much as I can so children with cancer uk can continue to find the cure for medicine for children with cancer and help in giving them the quality of life they truly deserve like you and me. The money also goes to these children for day trips and surprises that helps towards putting a smile on their faces, to me that’s priceless and if it is for you then please help by sponsoring me for the virgin London marathon 2013 I promise I will not let you down and I thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance. you can see my photos on this page to see my change in weight loss.[/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]To keep up to date with my progress please go to my facebook page  by clicking on the link, I am asking everyone to join my facebook page in show of support of my journey so please click like[/p][lt]h2 style="text-align: center;"[gt] https://www.facebook.com/adysjourney?ref=hl[lt]/h2[gt][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt]More Videos Click Here[/p][p][/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt][/p][lt]p style="text-align: center;"[gt][/p]
