My story

[p] [/p][p]Hello and thank you for visiting my page, as many of you know this is a journey I have been on since 2011 with my first ever journey starting at one of the worlds most prestigous marathons, The Virgin London Marathon in 2013, since then I have completed this year my third London Marathon and I am now aiming for my third Great North Run and 6th Half marathon![/p][p] [/p][p]From many years of getting into trouble, danger and the thought of prison looming around me on many occasions nothing could be more worst than facing the words that I could die in a matter of six months if I didnt change my lifestyle. This was my biggest fight of all and not only that probably the most biggest challenge I will ever undertake in my life![/p][p][lt]br /[gt]I lost 8 stone in weight over 12 months and took YES took on my biggest ever challenge the Virgin London Marathon and never looked back and this was all thanks to this special charity CHILDREN WITH CANCER UK who believed in my Journey and also believed anyone can change like me, many other charities closed the door on me, this charity didnt, they interviewed me three times and I was so happy they were pleased to have me on board.[/p][p][lt]br /[gt]I never knew by changing my lifestyle and changing my attitude on life what was next to be, I was hit by a media storm from magazines like runing running magazines, the mercury the east anglian, the suffolk free, bbc London, BBC 5 Live, the listening project BBC suffolk radio (Reguler guest on the show) then Television! WOW! a spark of fame was on my door as television wanted to interview me on how I have inspired thousands on Look East and if that wasnt enought BBC Sport chose me to be one of the inspiring runners of the London Marathon in 2013 I was gobsmacked!! beyond beliefe so they came out to film me for the program that was aired to 130 countries and millions of people watching I was humbled to be asked if I would by the bbc producers.[/p][p][lt]br /[gt]My Journey just exploded as on the day of the filming being aired I always remember over 300 people messaging me and emailing and calling to say how inspired they where by me I felt blessed not only have I survived my passed of what I call the dark side (to know more just wait for the book!) it was a weird feeling I for once did something good and it felt good too.[/p][p][lt]br /[gt]In 2014 after my major interview with spogo sports I was asked to be interviewed by the Olympic organisers BE INSPIRED!! wow and so I was on the same page as MO FAro which was sent to over 4 million people in the uk and so the journey continues I have a passion for this charity and a aim to reach £10,000 and so I will never give up on these as they believed in me, how many can you say belive in you? well I can tell you now everyone will if you are ready to change for the better and take on challenges, people will believe in you if you believe in yourself, if they dont then send them to me. [lt]br /[gt]Please support my Journey so we can do everything we can to be rid of this deadly disease our children and our friends children either face or could face one day I believe if we can be rid of childhood cancer then Adults wont even have to deal with it.[lt]br /[gt]I am lucky enough to be running one of the worlds biggest half marathons for the third time and last year I was filmed again with a short 30 second pitch to be the 1 millionth runner! this year who knows whats in store.[lt]br /[gt] [lt]br /[gt]My dream is to make £10000 help me to reach that please I have so far raised over £7000. and counting! thank you feel free to visit my website www.adysjourney.com or facebook Adys Journey and be inspred to inspire others![/p][p][lt]object width="425" height="350" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/eHjOmq0sSnw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"[gt][lt]param name="quality" value="high" /[gt][lt]param name="wmode" value="transparent" /[gt][lt]param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/eHjOmq0sSnw" /[gt][lt]/object[gt][/p][p][lt]object width="425" height="350" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/R3DTSkaGLy0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"[gt][lt]param name="quality" value="high" /[gt][lt]param name="wmode" value="transparent" /[gt][lt]param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/R3DTSkaGLy0" /[gt][lt]/object[gt][/p]
