[p]We did it! Follow us on #AnaplanThreePeaks for highlights from the Challenge! Thank you![lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]On June 8-9, 20 intrepid Anaplanners from across our three UK offices (and even one from the US!) took on the National Three Peaks Challenge. And all for a great cause.[/p] [p]So what is the Three Peaks Challenge? Simply put, it involves climbing the highest peak in each of England, Wales, and Scotland—for a total of three mountains scaled—in as short a time as possible. We started off in northern Scotland to tackle Ben Nevis, the highest peak at 1,345m (4,411ft). Next came England’s Scafell Pike, not so high at only 978m (3,209ft), but the toughest climb due to highly polished rocks and poor holds (not to mention awful weather and visiblity!). Last of all, was a drive westward into Wales for our final peak, Snowdon, at a height of 1,085m (3,560ft). Thankfully the sun was back by then![/p] [p]We finished the Challenge in 27hours 50minutes, covering around 25 miles in distance, and what felt like that in height. Somewhat short of the record (a touch under 12 hours, set way back in 1971), but with 20 climbers and a coach for travel, impressive nonetheless.[/p] [p]And the great cause? Three very worthy charities, chosen by the participants, and local to each of our offices in York, Maidenhead, and London: SASH, Foodshare, and Centrepoint, respectively. Both SASH and Centrepoint do fantastic work to reduce youth homelessness, while Foodshare operates the Maidenhead food bank and provides much-needed support to low-income families.[/p][p]Thanks for visiting our page. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations![lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]Team Anaplan is... [/p][lt]table style="width: 151px;" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"[gt] [lt]colgroup[gt][lt]col width="151"[gt][lt]/col[gt] [lt]/colgroup[gt] [lt]tbody[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" width="151" height="21"[gt]Matt Antos-Lewis[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Angharad Kearle[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Simon Ritchie[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Steve Lake[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Anastasia Politiuk[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Holly North[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Tom Winter[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Ben Williams[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]James Baker[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Nicky Young[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Oliver Smithson[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Samuel Eldred[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Samuel Hopkins[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Steve Prendergast[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td height="21"[gt]Tony Hollyhurst[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Simon Fraser[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]tr height="21"[gt] [lt]td class="xl63" height="21"[gt]Amanda Myton[lt]/td[gt] [lt]/tr[gt] [lt]/tbody[gt] [lt]/table[gt]
