My story
[p]Many of us have enjoyed great times at the Whittington Park Community Centre. For people who don't know the centre it is in desperate need of major repairs and this is a very worthy community project to support.[/p][p]The centre is the hub of the local community and provides support to many different groups. From providing multiple classes, clubs and activities to a community cafe and lots of services across the entire age range, from babies to older people. I personally am looking forward to joinng the over 55s club in the coming years...(50 this year).[/p][p]So I have decided to travel to Jerusalem to run a Half marathon through the Holy city to help raise money for the rebuild (and also re-discover my inner spirituality in my 50th year of life).[/p][p]The centre has already raised [b]£930,000 which is over 80%[/b] of the [b]£1,120,000 required to undertake the transformative renovation. Please help with the final push[/b].[/p]
