Duchenne DashMAX

[p]Over the last few years I have helped organise an event called the Duchenne DashMAX [url=https://duchennedashmax.co.uk/]https://duchennedashmax.co.uk/[/url] with the main objective of raising awareness and funds for Duchenne UK. Duchenne UK [url=https://www.duchenneuk.org/]https://www.duchenneuk.org/[/url] is an amazingly focussed and dynamic charity which funds clinical trials to progress treatments and eventually a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The disease is the biggest global genetic killer of children (almost exclusively boys) which is incredible considering most of us have never heard of it previously. I will be cycling from London to Monaco over the Alps in 9 days with my close friend Ali Robertson who’s little 6 year old boy Felix has a race against time, having been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We will leave London on Friday 8th June and cover over 20,000m of climbing and 1,500km, arriving in Monaco on Saturday 16th June. Over the last 3 years we have raised close to £500,000 and this has already been put to work.
