Team story

[p]Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit our page.[/p][p]The summer holidays are fast approaching. Our 5yo will be off school and is looking forward to running around and exploring. I can't wait to join in and see what mischief we can get up to! [/p][p]But I'm also dreading July. We miscarried last year and Beanie's due date would be the middle of the month. The closer it gets, the more I think about what could have been. We can't change that it happened. Life has its ups and downs and miscarriage sucks (putting it politely). [/p][p]So, we've set ourselves a family challenge of bagging 20+ munros (a mountain over 3000ft) over 4 weeks. We are always out and about doing fun outdoors stuff and our son has already bagged 22 munros himself, so his hiking boots are truly worn in already. But this will be a huge challenge for us. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Beanie will be there with us in our thoughts every day. I like to think that by doing something she would have grown up doing, that she would love every minute. I hope we'll do Beanie proud.[/p][p]We'd like to raise a bit of money for Tommy's at the same time as getting our hefty dose of adventure in! Please donate what you can to sponsor our challenge and help fund Tommy's research into the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications that lead to miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth.[/p][p]Thank you [/p][p]Stacey, Keith and our adventurous son (who will most probably be fuelled by jellybeans for the summer!) [/p][p][/p][p]Keep up to date with our challenge - [/p][p]Website: http://anoutdoorsfamily.com/[/p][p]Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AnOutdoorsFamily/[/p][p]Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anoutdoorsfamily/[lt]br /[gt][/p][p] Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p]
