Team story

[p]Balhousie Care Group often look at ways of supporting people in our communities, including those who are lonely, isolated or vulnerable.[/p][p]That’s why we’re taking part in this year’s Sleep in the Park on Saturday 9th December 2017. We’re helping to raise awareness on the issue of homelessness and look at how we can provide future support and opportunities to those in our communities who face difficulties.[/p][p]Our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tony Banks and Steve White, have signed up to the event and are taking a small and dedicated team of from across the group.[/p][p]As an organisation, we wholeheartedly believe in doing our bit to help eradicate homelessness. That’s why we’re looking to fundraise £12000 for the charity Social Bite which will go towards creating housing and job opportunities for those in need of support.[/p][p]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to our chosen charity; social bite. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[/p][p]A big thanks to members of our Senior Management Team who have donated £2692 to support our team taking park in the event.[/p]

Well done Steve and all!! It defies logic and common sense for homelessness to still be an issue in 2017 so thank you all for helping, on behalf of all those who are suffering, by creating much needed funds for the overlooked souls who need it.
