BMCF Nursing Students Appeal

[p]British Malayali Charity Foundation is raising more funds to support 200 financially backward but bright nursing students, some of the funds were already raised through charity skydiving held in England/Scotland in five phases during October 2019 with the participation of 37 challengers from different walks of like such as priests, cine actors, chef, socialites, singers & professionals etc. The foundation has received more than 1500 applications from across Kerala and most of them were eligible with parents dead, no house/no land, life-threatening diseases to one of the family members & extreme financial difficulties to continue their studies etc. The raised fund will be given to support the selected nursing students in a brief function organised at VJT Hall, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on 31st January 2020. The trust had no choice but increase the number of beneficiaries to 200 within the available fundraised from skydiving event as around 350 applications received were eligible to support as per the inquiries/verifications conducted by the trustees and advisory committee members. However, it was also decided to approach generous people once again with an appeal if they could support the maximum number of applications.
