Team story

[p]Hi, thanks for visiting our page.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]The Brown brothers are attempting to cycle from London to Manchester to raise funds for the MNDA charity.  Our dad Harry was affected by MND and passed away in November 2011.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]If you know our family you will know that Andy is somewhat past the peak of his physical fitness!  Meanwhile, Chris is reasearching the best bike buy for the event - all the gear!  You will also know that Gary suffered a broken leg in December 2012.  This makes the 231 mile round trip even more of a challenge.  We will attempt to cycle from Buckingham Palace to our dad's favourite hang-out at Monton Sports Club, Manchester in three days over May Day Bank Holiday weekend.  There will be a fund-raising party at Monton Sports Club on Sunday 5th May upon our arrival back in Manchester, all supporters welcome![/p][p]We are also welcoming other people who wish to participate.  So far, our cousin Adam Brown is flying back from Dubai to bolster the Brown contingent.  Also, Simon Richardson and Dave Skinner at ISI, Paul Monks and Mark Zurowski have agreed to join the peloton.  Several people (Mike Roberts, Glyn Musgrove, Ric Williams, Ray Waterhouse, Tom Collins, Franc Porceddu, Fidget, Gouldy, Sam, Pud and Egg to date) have also decided to join us for the final leg from Ashbourne into Manchester on the morning of Sunday 5th May.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to our charity. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]Please dig deep!  Can't stop us laughing, may/may not stop us cycling![lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]From,[lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]Andy, Chris and Gaz.[/p]
