My story

[lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Why[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]On August 30th, 2014 my friend Lisa Lynch should be celebrating her 35th birthday. Tunnocks tea cakes, Beatles songs and enough wine to sink a passing parade float.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt][lt]img src="http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/03/31/article-1262528-0859F1EF000005DC-570_468x386.jpg" alt="Lisa Lynch" width="468" height="386" /[gt][/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Sadly, heartbreakingly, Lisa died on the 11th of March 2013 after a long and terrible journey with what she affectionately termed "The Bulls**t". Breast cancer, bone cancer and eventually brain tumours.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Losing Lisa was a shock to us all - this vibrant girl that we all knew and loved so fiercely. I wanted to do something to honour her, while also doing something worthwhile and hopefully something that would have raised a smile from her if she were here to see it.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]What?[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Lisa was (self admittedly) terribly vain about her hair, so I've decided to shave mine off and donate it to a wig making charity. I'm sure she would have seen the humorous side of my becoming bald for her, ha.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]When?[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]I've chosen to shave my head on Lisa's birthday, because I think that would have made her laugh even more. Here's looking at you, kiddo.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Who does it benefit?[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]I've chosen three charities who helped to made Lisa's life bearable after her cancer diagnosis: The Royal Marsden Hospital, Trinity Hospice and of course Cancer Research UK. [/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Why should I donate?[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]We have to find a cure for these awful diseases, you guys. We have to. I'm so selfish - I don't want to lose any more of my beautiful, witty, talented, patient, kind friends to a roll of the dice and a gene mutation. Enough is enough.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]If you'd like to support me in my quest to raise all the monies (seriously, all of them) then please donate. The more I raise the better, so dig deep. Don't be shy.[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Love[/p] [lt]p style="text-align: justify;"[gt]Sarah x[/p]
