My story
[p]Hello my name is Chris Ingram and I will running the London Marathon for the first time for Metabolic Support UK because my good friends daughter Emilia was diagnosed with Alexander Disease.[/p][p]Emilia is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Alexander Disease (which affects neurological pathways in the human body) when she was 2 and a half in April 2014. She is one of only 500 reported cases of this disease worldwide. Life expectancy for Alexander disease is 7 years. Her health has deteriorated over the last couple of years and the past 9 weeks have seen her in hospital with various complications.[/p][p]I am determined to make a positive contribution for Emilia and other children who are affected by these terrible day to day issues. Please if you could donate no matter how big or small to develop further research into this horrible disease I will be eternally grateful. Please help me raise the funds needed to make a positive contribution for Emilia. Thank you.[/p]
