London Marathon

[p]Like the Half Marathon in March and the 40 Mile Bike Ride last year wasn't enough of a challenge. I've been given a place in the London Marathon in 2020! [/p][p]As you may know in January 2017, my dad suffered from a stroke. He lost most of his speech, vision and hearing. He also lost mobility in the right side of his body. [/p][p]Since he's been attending Headway in Suffolk he has come on leaps and bounds, helping him with rehabilitation, speech and language. He's even been nominated for an award! [/p][p]He has had to learn to adapt and this has been hard as well as accepting, I’m so proud of my dads attitude and progress to never give up and stay positive! [/p][p]This organisation has helped my dad, family and myself so so much in his rehabilitation and hold a place very close to our hearts. We are truly grateful for all the help and support we have received from Ipswich Hospital, Icanho, Headway Ipswich, carers, friends and family.
