My story

[p][br][/p][p]My dad passed away in September 2016 (2a day before my birthday) and for the last couple of years of his life he suffered badly with depression due to not being able to leave the house and interact with people. He felt isolated and alone. I don't believe ANYBODY should have to go through that kind of pain. So I am running the Virgin London Marathon in 2018 for Livability, a charity that aims to help disabled and vulnerable people from being isolated. Sadly we learnt of this charity too late to help dad. [/p][p]I've never tackled a marathon before (half a dozen halfs, several 10ks and more 5ks than I care to count), but I wanted London to be my first marathon, and as dad always wanted me to do it I thought I'd try and raise money for a charity that could have helped make his last few years happier ones.[/p][p]UPDATES[/p][p]March 2nd 2018 - We have passed the £250 mark! Thank you![/p][p]February 19th 2018 - We have passed the £200 mark! Thank you![/p][p]February 18th 2018 - I am up to 17 miles![/p][p]January 14th 2018 - I am up to 10 miles![/p][p]December 2017 - We have passed the £150 mark! Thank you![/p]
